Day 1.
An all-day guided tour around the historic centre of Bologna to discover the UNESCO Creative City of Music. You’ll get the chance to see precious ancient church organs and unique musical instruments, as well as find out more about the city’s centuries-old academic music tradition, which even saw a young Mozart and the maestro Rossini spend time within its walls. The tour includes a visit to the Teatro Comunale and the opportunity to go behind the scenes and see the collection of historic backdrops. Lunch at your leisure. Dinner at a jazz club in the historic centre.
Day 2.
In the morning, a guided tour around Bologna’s historic centre to discover the “city of jazz “, featuring La Strada delle Stelle del Jazz (‘The Street of the Stars of Jazz’), Piazza Grande of Lucia Dalla fame, as well as the house-museum of the great Bolognese musician and composer. Lunch at a traditional restaurant in the historic centre. Afternoon at your leisure for shopping or visits to other places of musical interest, such as the Oratorio di San Colombano. Dinner at your leisure.
